Evil eye existence is so real.

It have been observed too many divorces after showing off in public how nice they are to each other and what a beautiful life they have.

It have been seen rich people who like to show off but they are very poor in their hearts and depressed.

Don't show too often how much Allah has blessed you. It might be for some people's eyes to weak to resist. The evil eye is real. Be careful. May Allah protect us all from jealousy and the evil eyes.

Have you ever felt...Right after sharing a success story with someone, something really unexpected happens to you? Out of nowhere? Or just after you share a happy picture with your kids / family / parents - something bad happens to them all on a sudden?

Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And from the evil of the envier when he envies.” [113:5]

The Arabic word al-‘ayn (translated as the evil eye) refers to when a person harms another with his eye. It starts when the person likes a thing, then his evil feelings affect it, by means of his repeated looking at the object of his jealousy. Allah commanded His prophet, Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), to seek refuge with Him from the envier.

Muslim, Ahmad and al-Tirmidhi narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The evil eye is real and if anything were to overtake the divine decree, it would be the evil eye. When you are asked to take a bath (to provide a cure) from the influence of the evil eye, you should take a bath.”

Imam Ahmad and al-Tirmidhi  narrated that Asma bint ‘Umays said: “O Messenger of Allah, the children of J’afar have been afflicted by the evil eye, shall we recite ruqyah for them?” He said, “Yes, for if anything were to overtake the divine decree it would be the evil eye.”

Abu Dawud narrated that ‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The person who had put the evil eye on another would be ordered to do wudu, then the person who had been afflicted would wash himself (with that water).

Evil eye is that it is real and is proven both by Islamic teachings and by real life experiences. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And verily, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes (through hatred).” [68:51]

When you look at below chart, you can see why the world is full of poverty. Only 2 out of the top 20 billionaires in the world are paying the equivalent of the Zakah!

Why+the+world+is+full+of+poverty.+Why+Zakat+is+one+of+the+Piller+of+Islam.jpg

People try to blame the Creator for injustice and hunger, when we can only blame the selective greed of some humans where wealth is concentrated, as Allah said in His book regarding the wisdom of giving Zakah "كي لَا يَكُوۡنَ دُوۡلَةًۢ بَيۡنَ الۡاَغۡنِيَآءِ مِنۡكُمۡ so that money would not be exclusive with the rich among you," (Surat Alhashr 59:7).

Now imagine only these 20 people paid the Zakah 2.5%, that would be 25 billion. Now calculate this for the entire population of the US, and you will get approximately 375 billion, and divide that over 10 million poor people, and each person gets approximately $3,125 dollars a month!

You might say, why would these rich people bother? When there is less poverty, there is more productivity and less crime, which makes a society more prosperous and happier overall, thus everyone is a winner at the end!

May Allah make us from those who honour the 3rd pillar of Islam, and make us prosperous in this life so we may give more, and in the after with lots of Hasanat. Ameen!

What is Zakat
Zakat is the third of the five Pillar of Islam. Zakat does not refer to charitable gifts given out of kindness or generosity, but to the systematic giving of 2.5% of one's wealth each year to benefit the poor. Zakat must be calculated on the following assets: gold, silver, cash, savings, investments, rental income, business merchandise and profits, shares, securities, and bonds etc. Zakat is not paid on wealth used for living expenses such as clothing, food, housing, transportation, education, etc.

In Arabic, the word zakat means purification, growth, and blessing. Paying zakat is meant to serve as a reminder to be appreciative of the blessings that Allah (SWT) has given, while empowering those who have less.

When the weather turns frightful, outdoor cats seek a warm spot to sleep.

That may be your car engine, top of your wheels or under the hood.

Help save a life by following these simple safety tips if you park outside:

1. Bang on the hood of the car before getting in.
2. Slam your door when you're seated.
3. Honk your horn a few times.
4. Wait a minute to start your vehicle.

Think zillions of times before you sell your phone or give your phone to any repair shop or even to any elite trustable customer service. They can get your data recover even after you have done factory reset and delete your data.

Secrets

Our smartphones are privy to some of our most important secrets. Sensitive business emails, financial details, contact information, and perhaps even very personal photos (first what are such stuff doing on your phone) are not things you want falling into the wrong hands.

Remember

Performing a factory reset nothing more than just a good idea. It certainly not enough that data has been removed.

Remember your data including your personal photos, Google searches, emails, text messages, and contact details can be recovered even after you factory reset, as your data is still not overwritten.

What to do

Follow below four steps to wipe your Android phone, to make sure data is properly gone. (Similar steps can be followed for iPhone)

Step 1: Encrypt your data

The first step is to encrypt your data (If it is not already encrypted or using old Android versions). This option is available built into Android (may not enabled by default). Encryption requires you to enter a PIN or password every time you turn your phone on.

  • Fully charge your phone or keep it plugged into the charger while this process is running, because it can take several hours depending on how much data you have.

Note: The exact method may be differ slightly from phone to phone, however it will generally be like below

  • Go to Settings > Security > Encrypt phone.

  • Or Go to Settings > Security & location > Advanced > Encryption & credentials and select “Encrypt Phone”

  • Or on Samsung Galaxy, Go to Settings > Lock screen & security > Protect encrypted data

Step 2: Factory Reset

Make sure you have already setup your new phone or that you have anything you want to keep backed up before you do this because it will wipe everything. Once phone has reset, there’s no going easy back. The steps are similar for most Android devices, but some manufacturers like to be different.

  • Go to Settings > Select System > Advanced > Reset options > Select “Reset phone.”

Note: If you have a PIN or some other security setup, you’ll be asked to enter it. You’ll get another screen asking if you’re sure this is what you want to do. Are you sure? Then hit the “Erase everything” button.

  • Or On a Samsung Galaxy, Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Factory data reset and then tap Reset device.

  • Or On a Huawei phone, go to Settings > System > Reset > Factory data reset and then tap Reset Phone.

  • Or On a Google Pixel, it’s Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Erase all data (factory reset) and then tap Reset phone.

Step 3: Overwriting with junk data

Now final step is to be absolutely certain, by overwriting the encrypted data with junk data and then perform another last factory reset as done in step 2.

  • Simply load a bunch of dummy data onto your phone until the storage is full. A few large movies videos should do the trick.

  • Or Open your camera and keep recording video for hours long (like record open sky or charming birds or beautiful garden) till storage full.

  • Or you can also get an app to do it for you. Install any of these or similar app from Play Store, such as Secure Erase with iShredder 6 or Shreddit.

Note: Do not use your personal Gmail / Google account, instead create new dummy temporary google account to download these app to overwrite storage, as by using or connecting your actual google account you may accidentally restore data back again on device from Google drive.

Step 4: Final Factory Reset

Once above three steps completed and the data is overwritten by these app or video camera recording or you fill up storage with movies, perform another last factory reset as done in step 2. That’s how you completely wipe your Android phone.

Note: Never sell your SD Cards and Hard Drives, break into pieces and throw it away in garbage, even if they are not working or dead.
